I agree with the sentiment that is behind the expression (most of the time), but it doesn't make sense. Some people are very good at pronouncing things, while others barely know how to pronounce the words I used in this post.

I also enjoyed Crio Bru, (just tried it out of curiosity), but it doesn't have nearly as much caffeine as coffee.

No, I do not think a pardon implies guilt, since many innocent people have been convicted and later pardoned.
