Re: Torah taught in the style of secular education
This kind of "efficiency" should not be the goal of the education system. The education system should use all the resources it needs for an optimal education.

Schools should open in the Catskills
Summer camps can't open normally, so we need to make it up to the kids. Why not run a three month boarding school in the late summer/fall, with some country activities thrown in? It'll be fun, and the kids will learn better than they have on their Zoom sessions.

Torah taught in the style of secular education
Should it be taken for granted that in frum schools that teach both a Torah education and the secular knowledge required by the government, the Torah education should be taught in the Western schooling style? Why give the homework and tests for Chumash like for science and history?

What's your favorite Avraham Fried song?
I don't think anything can top "Don't Hide From Me". The level of emotion the song expresses just makes it the best song Avraham Fried has ever performed.

Children watching videos
Are children influenced by the videos they watch? In that case, can this be a positive thing, for example, with educational videos? Or are educational videos just an excuse for kids to waste their time?

Re: Should I cook without onions?
That is not actually possible. Onions smell and taste awful, and they impart this awful flavor into anything that is cooked with them.

There should be heimish peanut butter creme filled sandwich cookies.
Currently, there are Oreos that are filled with peanut butter creme, but Oreos are OU-D. It's a shame that the heimish brands only seem to produce chocolate and vanilla flavored cookies with vanilla creme.
