Re: Let's write a story!

So, right about now is the time for a bit of a recap or list of characters. Here is what we know so far: Yaakov and Dina are moving into a new house in Stanley, North Dakota. They are moving there with twelve of their children, the ones who live with them. They also have two married children, one o...

They are food.
Food is any substance that provides nutrition for an organism. So yes, they are food. However, they are not human food, nor are they fit for any of the animals that humans associate with.

Why do laptop product pages not tell more about the cooling system?

It's very nice for a laptop to have a powerful processor and a nice screen, but it's no good if it's all packed in without a decent fan. I want a computer, not a very expensive brick that was a fast computer for a minute.

Back in Boro Park, Yaakov and Dina simply shrugged and moved on. They didn't have time to worry about the furniture. They needed to pick their children up from school on time for the scheduled private jet flight.

Re: Will the zoo animals be scared when the zoos reopen?

Most of them will be curious but not scared. Masks don't cover eyes. Some of them see eye contact as a threat. Won't masks make that even scarier? I don't think that they will be scared because they were seeing the zookeepers the entire time. The zookeepers are familiar. Visitors are not.

However, Pinchas reflected, though mixing teams with construction workers was humorous, it was also important. The real Squadron 3234jdic trainees would benefit from mixing with the guys who'd been told that the government wanted them for this one mission. They would just have to keep quiet about th...

They retreated to the basement. "They were never not going to notice," KBZ3N21 admitted. "This time we didn't just run the risk of being noticed. We decided to go in knowing that we would be noticed. It was the right choice." "What!?" the team all asked. "Yes, you ...

"I don't know," said Dina. "There are some things I would like to keep. But perhaps if we go back to Boro Park now, we can go through everything and see what we really need." Yaakov agreed. They went back, but what they saw there really shocked them: None of their belongings were...

Re: If Trump wins, he should resign.

Grover Cleveland had to lose to Benjamin Harrison to be both the 22nd and 24th president, but if he wins, Trump could resign from his current term a few days before his inauguration and be the 45th and 47th president. That's like being two presidents.

Re: Children's media in which children keep secrets from adults

Sometimes it makes sense for an adult not to believe the child, but sometimes it really doesn't. In many of these stories, the secret is something that could easily be demonstrated.

He took another glance at the creature. It spoke again. "Hello, Yanky!" it squeaked. He did not have time to process this. He walked outside, where the crashing sound continued. Outside, he saw a stranger using his son's old drum set. Though the stranger had clearly stolen Pinny's drum set...

Your breathing is not supposed to be restricted by a mask. I had a mask that restricted my breathing, and I threw it out and will not purchase any more masks from the company that makes their masks out of plastic.

Microwave ovens are safe

I saw a letter in a newspaper a while ago warning people not to use microwave ovens because radiation. It's a radio in a box. If the non-ionizing radiation that escapes is not enough to do to you what it does to the food in the oven, it's not that different from the heat that escapes from an oven th...
